Mark joined AXON Partners in early 2015. He is involved in all aspects of new business origination and execution of AXON’s primary, secondary and strategic advisory mandates. He also manages investor relationships across several jurisdictions in Europe.

 

Mark has 18 years of relevant private equity experience as an investor and placement agent. He raised capital for a total of 20 private equity funds and led several secondary transactions.

 

Prior to joining AXON Partners, he was for four years a portfolio manager at Geneva based fund of funds Unigestion SA and for nine years with SCM Strategic Capital Management (today Mercer Private Markets) in Zurich/Switzerland and Hong Kong/China where he was responsible for the sourcing and execution of private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds in Europe, the US and Asia.

 

Mark holds a Master of Arts with a major in Finance from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and is fluent in German and English and conversant in French.

 

Mark is a keen traveller and hiker and enjoys going for a walk with his dog.
